"L'immensità" (in English: Immensity) is an Italian song, which was first performed by Johnny Dorelli in 1967 and became 9th at the Festival of Italian Song in Sanremo.

The song was later covered by a number of artists.
Don Backy
Mina - Italian version performed at the Sabato Sera series of grand variety shows and released on the LP Sabato sera - Studio Uno '67; Spanish version "La inmensidad" released in Spain and Latin American countries.
Milva
Sofia Rotaru covered it twice: in Italian and in Ukrainian as "Grey Bird". The Ukrainian version became part of the 1971 movie Chervona Ruta and was released in the 2003 LP album Yedinomu in the remastered version.

L’IMMENSITA’ – The immensity- wrote by Don Backy and sung by Jonny Dorelli and Don Backy on 1967,  Sanremo Italian Music Festival,  has been one of most beautiful italian song ever.
The song didn’t has many success, but,  after some months, Mina, the best italian singer , in making his own the song, justifies the title with his voice soaring: grasping the sense, precisely, that emanates from the vastness of nature, which through the raindrops on flowers, the sky offers flights of butterflies and makes that none of us, in the infinite mystery of the cosmos, is never alone
The simplicity of the music that seems to help the singer to scream the fear of being alone in a universe ‘immensity’, without end are a few simple components that make this song a great song, which can be interpreted in many ways more personal singers, despite past 40 years is still a topical song,
